GUIDELINES
CollectingBuzz.com
invites you to participate in our CHAT and MESSAGE BOARD. These
features are for your entertainment, information, education and
communication.
In order to
maintain a wholesome environment for our users, we have established the
following guidelines. Failure to observe these guidelines can result in
anything from a warning to termination of user privileges.
Please remember,
electronic messages can be harsh. Think twice before you fire off a
heated message or reply. This may be a virtual community, but the
people here are completely real.
Users of our Chat Rooms and Message Board must not:
► Infringe on
anyone's intellectual property rights, including but not limited to any
copyright, trademark, rights of publicity, or other proprietary rights.
► Post or
transmit any profane, vulgar, repugnant, obscene or sexually explicit
language or images, even if masked by other characters.
► Post or
transmit anything meant to harass, threaten, embarrass or cause
distress or discomfort upon another chat or message board participant,
or other individual or group. One such example would be resorting to
personal attacks.
► Post or
transmit any material that is grossly repugnant to community standards,
including blatant expressions of bigotry, racism or hate.
► Attempt to impersonate anyone, including administrators working in an authorized capacity.
► Engage in any
activity that is apparently intended to disrupt users enjoyment of our
interactive features, including flooding or scrolling (repeatedly
entering either meaningless characters, three or more repeated blank
lines, the same text three or more times, or consistently repeating
text in a chat room).
► Post or transmit any material in ALL CAPS, except for occasional, limited use for specific emphasis.
► (Multiple)
post or transmit (spam) any unsolicited advertising or promotional
materials. Anyone promoting a site, products or services should
identify themselves as such and are encouraged to responsibly
participate in conversations in a factual and non-promotional manner.
These guidelines were last revised on October 23, 2005.
