Let there be lights!........
Oh, I'm so full of it this season.....the holiday SPIRIT that is....
Sunday was a bright, sunny day and relatively warm. I ventured up into the attic and brought down my outdoor Christmas decorations. One box was marked "outdoor lights" and I opened the box carefully. From inside that box it was as if those little lights were just screaming at me...."Please hang us this year!"..."Put us up and let us brighten your house!"..."We want to shine for you!"
After consideration, I put on my creative hat and went to the front porch to develop a plan for those little lights and, hopefully, create a unique display that could possibly win me the trophy for my neighborhood's outdoor decorating contest.
WELL, I'm so happy with the way it came out. You'll see the final display below. I was just giddy with anticipation for nightfall when I could plug those buggers in and view their sparkling delight.....and I could already hear the gasps from the neighbors when they see it. Won't THEY be surprised (and jealous)!
Since my decorating is now complete, I'm available if you might need some Christmas decorating assistance. I know it takes that extra special creative touch (and talent) to ultimately come up with something breathtakingly beautiful like I did and I'm willing to lend you a hand on your house if you need it.
